Almost hidden at the bottom of a back garden in London, this incredible hideaway is more like a fairytale haven than an average shed.
The stunning 'Writer's Shed' was designed for a children's author and illustrator by architects Weston Surman & Deane Architecture, and inspired by the owner's passion for children's literature and mythology.
Measuring around 16 by 13ft, the tiny cabin provides a secret haven for the unnamed writer to work from behind his home in Hackney, east London.
The glowing cedar faced, log store and chimney all help give the shed a fairytale quality, while the north-facing skylight fills the workspace with natural light, and a bookcase meandering around the wood-burning stove serves as a centre piece for the owner to store his library of books, and find inspiration for his next tale.
