A new report has revealed that 67 per cent of Brits would prefer to stay in a shed over cottage or caravan.
With some people spending more than £500 buying or decorating their sheds, they can be quite luxurious.
There's a riverside resident with just enough room for two in Surrey or a WWII bunker with its own kitchen.
For some of us, a shed is a wooden hut at the bottom of the garden, filled with pruning sheers, watering cans and creepy crawlies.
But for a growing number of British travellers, a staycation in a shed is their idea of a perfect holiday and it's set to be a new trend for 2016.
Some 67 per cent of Brits would prefer to stay in a shed over a cottage, caravan or tent for their next break in the country, an annual report has revealed.
Holidaymakers are most likely to find a shed in the South East as the Cuprinol Shedonomics report claims that 69 per cent of people in the region own one.
The East Midlands also came close and 74 per cent of people there said that they would not buy a house unless there was room for a shed.
But for a luxurious stay, it might be worth heading up to the North East.
The report indicated that 92 per cent of people in the North East have spent up to £500 buying their sheds while 96 per cent claimed to have spent up to £500 on decorating it.
